From our *** NOVEMBER *** Newsletter

On Saturday, November 1st., TN EWMA had its annual Fall Ride-In to the Fox and Hound "Restaurant in Newport, TN. We had a great turn out to enjoy fun, fellowship and great food with EWMA fellow member from Chapters A2, B, C and M. TN District has three Ride-In's annually, Spring, Summer and Fall. These Ride- In's are well attended, but if you have not been able to attend maybe next year!!!

We hope each Chapter has been having rides to their favorite "beauty spots" to enjoy the beautiful changing of seasons. In November, many Chapters participate in a Veterans Day parade or visit a Veterans Memorial or ceremony to honor those who have served our Country.

There is also a couple of Train Rides that can be taken to see the Fall Colors in the Mountains. The first one in TN is the Hiwassee Loop and Copper Hill Special and it takes you through the Cherokee National Forest and the Hiwassee River. The second one is the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad in Bryson City, NC. It runs from the Fontana Lake to the Nantahala Gorge.

The fourth Thursday in November we celebrate with Family and Friends a National Holiday which is Thanksgiving. We celebrate Thanksgiving to give thanks for the harvest and blessings of the last year.

Connie and I would like to wish all the Chapters and their Members a very HAPPY THANKSGIVING with family and friends!!!
